Baking Club Permission Form

Turn in completed permission slip to the ASB window by April 9th.

The OHI Baking Club will be meeting on Thursdays, beginning on Thursday, April 11th, through Thursday, June 6th, 2024.

Description: The OHI Baking Club meetings will take place in 2C from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM.

Goals: The children will learn the basics of kitchen safety, which involves using kitchen tools and basic food handling safety. They will then move on to learning how to prepare simple snacks and treats.

Custom Program:

• Three NO SHOWS: Participants may be excluded after 3 NO SHOWS unless accompanied by a teacher note (e.g., after-school tutorials) or a parent note (e.g., absence from school).
• Three late parent pick-ups: "Parent pick up" participants must be picked up promptly at 4:45 PM at the front of the school.
• Three late arrivals: Late arrivals may be sent down to the front office to call home unless accompanied by a teacher note (e.g., after-school tutorials).
• Three timed sit-outs for misbehavior: Participants will be asked to sit out when he/she is not following the 3-R's: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready; safety is a priority.
• Meeting Abandonment: Participants who roam around campus or leave campus and return after attendance has been taken will not be allowed to participate and will be sent down to the front office to call home; this is an automatic exclusion from the Program.
