Retiree Lunch Connects Familiar Faces

Thank you to the Oak Harbor Public Schools retirees who attended our annual Retiree Lunch this week! Attendees shared stories and discussed updates with district leadership over lunch. We are thankful that many of our retirees continue to serve the district as substitute educators and volunteers.

Veterans Day is Monday, November 11. Thank you to our family members, alumni, and community members who have served.

This week our schools honored veterans through music and art made possible thanks to community support of our local levy.

Be sure to stop into the Galleria on Pioneer Way while you are shopping and dining in downtown Oak Harbor. Our schools decorated trees with student-created Salish Sea themed ornaments! Thank you to our amazing #TeamOneOakHarbor art teachers for your creativity and spirit!

Young Scientists Learn About Ecosystems

Mrs. Boswell's 5th grade class at Oak Harbor Intermediate School recently completed an owl pellet science lab while studying the food chain and ecosystems!

Athletics Highlights

Congratulations to our Girls' Soccer team for defeating Sedro-Woolley this week 5-1. With the win the Wildcats qualified for the 3A State Tournament. They will play for the district championship on Saturday, November 9th at Shoreline Stadium vs Shorewood. Game time is 2:00 pm. Because this is a District Playoff Game students do not get in for free and there is no military discount. Ticket prices are $8.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Students with ASB Card, Seniors & Children.
Congratulations to our Varsity Football team who are the Wesco North League Champions. The Wildcats will host a District Playoff Game at home this Friday, November 8th vs Seattle Prep HS. Game time will be 7:30 pm. Because this is a District Playoff Game students do not get in for free and there is no military discount. Ticket prices are $8.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Students with ASB Card, Seniors & Children.
Congratulations to our Swim team who will compete in the district championship at Snohomish Aquatic Center Friday, November 8 at 5:15 PM and Saturday, November 9 at 4PM. Credit card only.
Congratulations to our Volleyball team for a fantastic season, qualifying for the District Playoffs.
