Oak Harbor High School's 'Future Wildcats' banner with the slogan 'Passport to Your Future'.
On January 20, Oak Harbor High School welcomed all local middle school students (8th grade) and their families to Passport to Your Future, a special event designed to introduce future freshmen to the many opportunities awaiting them in high school.

This annual event included a free bbq provided by our Booster Clubs (PTO, Choir, Band, Athletics, and Robotics) and information for students and families about course offerings across all departments, graduation requirements and academic planning, and extracurricular opportunities.

In case you missed it and you're planning ahead or just beginning to explore, we invite you to view the presentation on our Future Wildcats website.

Resources for Immigrant Families

Recently, members of our community have shared concerns regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity locally and across the country. We want to reaffirm our commitment to supporting all students and families and to ensuring that our schools remain safe and welcoming spaces for learning.

We follow board policy (BP 3226 & 3226P) and work closely with our local law enforcement to abide by these rules and procedures to maintain the safety of our students and schools. School staff may not ask for, or record, information regarding student or family immigration status.

Resources for impacted families include:

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project
Immigrant Legal Resource Center
Legal Counsel of Youth and Children
Immigrant Safety Plan for Youth and Children in English and Spanish.
