Intramural Soccer

Dear Panther Families,
We would like to invite your child to participate in Oak Harbor Intermediate’s Intramural Indoor Soccer.
Description:
Oak Harbor Intermediate Intramurals is a FREE, co-ed program designed to develop movement skills, health-related fitness, and personal and social responsibility all while participating with students within the same Oak Harbor Intermediate.
Goals:
-Participate in a safe and structured environment.
-Set goals, make COMMITMENTS, strive for personal bests, and follow through with responsibilities.
-Most importantly, enjoy the sport rather than the pressure to compete and win.
Important Information:
-Dates: Tuesdays Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 to 8:45pm.
-Participants will meet in the GYM, where attendance will be taken.
-Participants must wear gym appropriate shoes, and clothes. (NO sandals, short-shorts, etc).
-Participants will have 5 minutes to change, in the gym locker room (if necessary).
-Participants must be willing to practice basic warm up and agility skills, conditioning and Soccer skills and learn the rules and fundamentals of Soccer.
-Participants must be willing to apply the skills learned to match play and tournament style play.
There is NO after Oak Harbor Intermediate program bussing at this time.
-Parent drop off will be at the front of the Oak Harbor Intermediate.
-It is important that you drop off your child promptly at 8:00 am.
-ALL paperwork must be completed and turned into the ASB office prior to participation.

Exclusion from the Program:
-Three NO SHOWS.
(Participants will be excluded after 3 NO SHOWS unless accompanied with a teacher note, example; after Oak Harbor Intermediate tutorials, or a parent note, example; absence from Oak Harbor Intermediate).
-Three late arrivals.
(Late arrivals will be sent down to the front office to call home, unless accompanied with a teacher note, example; after Oak Harbor Intermediate tutorials).
-Three late parent pick-ups.
(“Parent pick up” participants must be picked up promptly at 4:45 pm, at the front of the Oak Harbor Intermediate).
-Three timed-sit-outs for misbehavior.
(Participants will be asked to sit out when he/she is not following the the 3-R’s, Respectful, Responsible, and Ready, safety is a priority).
-1 Practice Abandonment
(Participants who roam around campus or leave campus and return after attendance has been taken will NOT be allowed to participate and will be sent down to the front office to call home, this is an automatic exclusion from the program).
